ONEFIVE MOVES TO NEW FACILITY

Regensdorf, Switzerland – Onefive GmbH has moved to its newly acquired larger premises. Relocation of offices and manufacturing facility was long planned, due to the significant increase of demand of Onefive’s laser modules.

Relocation of the new facilities has started at the beginning of fall 2015, and full operation is expected by the end of year 2015. The new site is only a few kilometers from the old factory, it covers more than 2500 m2 and includes class 10000 and class 1000 clean rooms fully equipped with water and gas processing equipment.

ONEFIVE ACQUIRES NEW PREMISES

Zürich, Switzerland – Onefive GmbH, announces that it has acquired new production and development facilities. Due to increased demand for Onefive’s laser modules, the company decided to relocate all of its operations.

This acquisition should significantly help to optimize the efficiency of Onefive’s production lines while at the same time offering state of the art research and development facilities to its ever growing staff of scientists, engineers and technicians.

These major infrastructure investments include an agreement to acquire class 10000 and 1000 clean rooms that will be equipped with water and gas processing equipment. Relocation to the new facilities covering more than 2500 sq. meters will be completed by the end of fall 2015.

ONEFIVE RECEIVES THE ISO 9001:2008 AND ISO 13485:2003 CERTIFICATION

The ISO 9001:2008 certification shows that the company is committed to provide cutting edge technology and to produce it with the highest levels of quality in all phases of the product’s life.
The ISO 13485:2003 standard specifies the requirement for a Quality Management System to ensure the production of devices that strictly fulfill the regulatory requirements of medical device production.

RECORD LOW-NOISE OPTICAL FREQUENCY COMB ACHIEVED WITH ONEFIVE FEMTOSECOND LASER ORIGAMI

Dr. Steve Lecomte and his team at the Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnique (CSEM) in Switzerland achieved record low relative intensity noise frequency comb and carrier-envelope offset frequency stabilization using the Onefive femtosecond laser Origami - 10. The ultra-stable performance of the free-running Origami oscillator was one of the key factors for the stabilization of the Carrier-Envelope-Offset frequency (fCEO) to a record value of 60 dB Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR).

The results of this work have been published in the Electronics Letter journal and further confirm the outstanding features and performance of the Origami femtosecond laser technology. As reported in the featured article, the femtosecond laser is the heart of the frequency comb technology, and its choice is crucial for the performance and reliability of the whole system.

Onefive GmbH releases the Origami – XP high energy femtosecond laser in a new single-box, air-cooled design. The laser now comes as an all-in-one solution (laser head, controller and air-cooling system integrated in one box). It is the most compact source available in its peak power range while it is not compromising any laser features. It offers outstanding pulse quality, pulse energy stability, pointing stability and timing jitter.

At the same time it provides flexible repetition rate from single-shot to 1 MHz. It comes with real-time pulse energy measurement and control, especially designed for demanding high-precision applications. Pulse sequences with arbitrary energy can be programmed. The laser can be mounted in any spatial direction.
